It's all about the bag...

So anyone who knows me well, knows I'm a purse hog! Yep! I see a cute purse and I really would LOVE to have it... Well, that brings us to the diaper bag issue... I told hubby, "baby, I need to buy a diaper bag, but I'd like to buy something a little more stylish and also use it as my purse." Well, I think all hubby heard was, "Wha wha, wha wha wha, new bag, wha wha wha wha, wha wha." (Invisioning Charlie Brown's teacher right now aren't you.)

Well, I've been looking on the net to see what kind of storage I might need in a bag... well, let me tell you, it's left me drooling over some of the cutest bags! (Of course they cost a WHOLE lot! - I never said I had cheap taste.)

So I'm hoping I can find something remotely cute... but here's some nice ones I found on the net.... some you'd never even suspect they were diaper bags!
This one is from www.sobebabies.com

I'm a sucker for toile... this one is at www.diaperbags.com

And this one is at www.lushkabag.com - it also comes in different colours... I love the handle!

And there's these ones... they can be personalized. There's lots of colours and patterns and even one with a feather boa trim! This Eiffel Tower on made me think of DG. They're all at www.ginabugs.com

Oh so many cute ones! I just hope I can find something remotely cute and not too babyish.... not that there's anything wrong with Winniw the Pooh on your bag, it's just not posh enough for me I guess.... teehee.

Finally Completed!

I've been working on this page for what seems like forever! I got halfway done and then was stumped as to how I wanted to embelish it. Scrapper's block I guess... well it's finally done and outta my hair! I'm not totally thrilled by it and wouldn't call it one of my favs but it turned out ok. I tried using some new papers and doodads.... for something different I guess.

Aren't the booties just darling? So cute and cozy looking... I love the little sheep on the front! I told G that yesterday while out and about with Kirsten, I saw the cutest little stuffed sheep in a window... too bad the store was closed! Might have to take hubby back there for a peek! Hmmm..... he's off tomorrow.... might have to do some convincing! Tee hee!

Hope you like it! And don't forget to leave yummy comments!

Another Belly Page...

Another Day,
Another Scrap...

Cute pict of hubby and me at 33 weeks....

So I was going to go with hubby to work today, but since the bus he has now doesn't have a toilet, and the place he was going wasn't near a bar (Italians form of coffee shop), he figured I'd be happier staying at home...

Anyways, I ended up doing some more laundry, putzed around the house and got this page done... You'd think though, after all the scrappin' I've been doing on the computer, I'd be able to finish a page much quicker... guess I'm just too damn picky for my own good! Oh well, didn't have much else to do anyways... Hope you like it.

Also, thought I'd post a few links for some scrappin' inspiration (seeing as it's been a while since I've done that...)

Ultrasound pictures...

Here's the latest picts of baby.... not much to see as baby is all cramped up in there.
33 Weeks and Counting...

So we had our last ultrasound yesterday... AND... yesterday was picture day! Hubby was actually home for picture day too.

So as for the ultrasound appointment.... everything is apparently looking good... heartbeat is normal, size is approx 2100g so they think baby will be around 3.5 kg when born... so sounds like it won't be an overly tiny baby for me like my fortunate sister had.... twice might I add... lucky bum! Hers were both 5lbs 8oz. and 5lbs 8.5 oz.... sounds like this little rigatoni will be around 7 1/2 lbs.... I was complimented on my "pancia" (belly) by the ultrasound tech... apparently it's nice and round.... and I have been so fortunate to this point to not have any stretch marks... YET!.... knocking.... or should I say... pounding on wood!

Well, as for the picture day.... if you've been reading... hubby and I decided that on the same day of every month, we'd do belly shots (no not the liquor ones....tee hee!) to see how my belly has grown. Well, here's a sample pict... I'll be doing some scrapbook pages up soon of the rigatoni and my belly.

Oh yeah, here's also a little sampling of a church we came across yesterday on our way home from the ultrasound. We stopped at Castelmaggiore (hope I spelled it right). This tiny little church is so simple and plain on the outside... pinkish stucco with white trim... we never expected to find this inside.... it was literally completely covered in paintings. It was so gorgeous... so if you are in Europe and you find a little church that is quite demur on the outside... don't pass up seeing it on the inside... it just might surprise you!

Well, that's it for now...

Scrappin' Again...

Well, actually I have been working on this one Sarnico page for a while... I was a bit stumped by what to do with it... I loved the picture cuz it reminded me of our visit there. We went there to meet up with an old army buddy of G's and our friends Mary and Luca were also joining us that evening.

While waiting we checked out the market that was on... I wish I had been more "touristy" that evening cuz some of the vendors selling meats, had stuffed wild boar heads... I've never seen one! They're huge! Wild boar (or cinghiale - pronounced ching-gee-a-lee) is a popular meat here. G's boss likes to go in the mountains and hunt them.

Anyways, while we were waiting, we walked over to the lake to watch the swans, ducks and birds... that's pretty much all we could watch because the fog was so thick... then a family came along with some crusty bread and started feeding them... it was awesome! The birds were flying around and the swans were fluffing up their wings trying to steal the bits of bread from the younger, smaller swans... (pecking order and all)...

After that we headed to a cute little cafe to chat and get aquainted and then off for a yummy dinner. It was a great evening!
